Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of PokeCoach (the “Service”), a competitive Pokémon team-building and analysis tool operated by the PokeCoach team (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

PokeCoach provides metagame data, damage/battle calculations, team-building tools, a battle simulator, and an optional AI coaching assistant, for competitive Pokémon video games. Free tools are available without an account. The AI coach is a paid feature.

2. Accounts

Some features require signing in with Google via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for activity under your account. Don’t share your account or use it to abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service.

3. PokeCoach Pro subscription & billing

• Price: PokeCoach Pro is US$9.99 per month, billed through Stripe. The amount charged is whatever the current Stripe price shows at checkout.
• Renewal: The subscription renews automatically each month until canceled.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from the Manage link in the app (Stripe Customer Portal). Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
• Free taster: A limited number of free AI-coach questions may be offered before a subscription is required. This is provided as-is and may change.
• Payment data: Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

4. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service’s data or outputs at scale; do not attempt to bypass the paywall, rate limits, or authentication; do not use the Service for anything unlawful. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access for abuse.

5. No guarantee of results

PokeCoach provides analysis and suggestions based on public usage data and battle calculations. It does not guarantee wins, ladder ranking, or tournament results. All strategic decisions are yours. The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

6. Intellectual property & affiliation

Pokémon and all related names are trademarks of Nintendo, Game Freak, and The Pokémon Company. PokeCoach is an independent fan tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Usage statistics are derived from public community sources.

7. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms or the Service. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them. You may stop using the Service and cancel any subscription at any time.
